Barbering and Cosmetology Apprentice -
What's New

TThe Barbering and Cosmetology Examining Board has approved this forfeiture grid on assessing forfeitures for administrative rule violations.  The grid was recently updated by the Board to include new regulations, correct inaccurate references and clarify some areas that may have been vague.  The Board assesses a forfeiture based on whether the offense is a first-, second-, or third-time offense.  In some cases a forfeiture is assessed according to the length of time of the violation (timeline: 0 - to 5 months, 6 months to 1 year, 1 year or more).  The Board has been able to expedite the closing of complaints by using this grid.

Forfeiture Grid (form #2726) updated June 4, 2007

The Barbering and Cosmetology Examining Board approved new additions to the forfeiture grid to reflect new changes in the Board's rules.  The New Additions to the Forfeiture Grid (form #2726A) reflects additional violations that can occur as a result of new rule changes that took effect on December 1, 2006.  The new additions include Delegated Medical Procedures, Microdermabrasion and other changes.
