At its meeting on July 1, 2009,
the Board decided to accept the following examinations for both dentists
and dental hygienists: CRDTS, WREB, NERB, SRTA, ADEX, and CITA. The
ruling is in effect for examinations taken on or after JANUARY 1,
2009.
Note: Parts I and II of ADEX
are not required for WREB examinees for examinations taken on or after
JANUARY 1, 2009.
At its meeting on September
28, 2005 , the Dentistry Board decided to accept the Northeast
Regional Board (NERB) examination for Wisconsin licensure in
both Dentistry and Dental Hygiene. Acceptance is retroactive
for 5 years from September 28, 2005.
"Effective December 1, 2005,
applicants completing the Western Regional Examining Board examination
must also successfully complete the ADEX exam portions Part I in diagnostic
and treatment planning and Part III of the mannequin examination in
fixed prosthodontics. Applicants who have successfully passed
the WREB examination prior to December 1, 2005 are not required to
pass ADEX I and III"
