Manicuring School/Manicuring Specialty School

    Administrative Code (Code Book)

    A manicuring school is a business entity engaged in teaching manicuring.

    Manicuring means cleansing, cutting, shaping, beautifying or massaging limited to the hands, feet or nails of the human body.

    No person may operate a school unless the school holds a current license. School means any facility, other than a specialty school, that offers instruction in barbering or cosmetology, aesthetics electrology or manicuring.

    Specialty school means an establishment that offers instruction to no more than one person at a time and does not charge tuition for the training.
