2). Complete the application for a real estate business entity license.
If the business entity is a corporation, at least one of the corporate officers is required to hold a current real estate brokers license. If the business entity is a partnership, at least one of the partners has to hold a current real estate brokers license. If the business entity is a limited liability company or limited liability partnership, one of the members must hold a current brokers license.
3). Submit completed application, all required documentation and application fee. The affidavit must be signed by a business representative in the presence of a notary public.
4). Department review of application. Listed business representatives are checked for valid licensure.
5). Determination to grant license.
