Can
credentials be transferred from other States/Countries?
The Social Worker Section may grant
a reciprocal credential, to an applicant who pays the required
fee and provides evidence of holding a current credential as a
clinical social worker in good standing in another state if the
requirements in the other state are substantially equivalent to
Wisconsin's requirements.
Will
my supervised clinical practice hours from another state count towards
my hourly requirement for the LCSW?
Supervised clinical
social work hours obtained in another state may not be accepted
towards the 3000 hour requirement unless they were accrued under
a Wisconsin issued advanced practice or independent social worker
credential.
