New Administrative Rules
Changes to Wis. Admin. Code § MPSW 3.11 (5) Temporary Certificate or License:
Effective January 1, 2006, the Section amended its rule to eliminate the expiration of a temporary credential upon notification of failure of the required examination. The amendment to the rule permits applicants to retake the failed examination without having to surrender their temporary certificate or license, thereby allowing them to remain in practice while they await the next examination opportunity. A temporary certificate or license still expires 9 months from the date of its issuance.
